Key Features
Find Your Polling Unit
Use the Find PU tab to search for any polling unit by name, INEC code, ward, or LGA. If GPS coordinates are available, tap Navigate to get Google Maps directions. Verified voters can also post a GPS pin at their polling unit to help others find it.
Verify Your PVC
Tap Verify from the home screen to start the voter verification process. You will:
- Enter your personal details (name, email).
- Select your state, LGA, ward, and polling unit — or enter your INEC polling unit code directly for quick lookup.
- Upload a clear photo of your PVC.
- Take a selfie for face comparison.
- Submit for admin review (usually within 24-48 hours).
Once verified, you unlock exclusive features like your polling unit's forum, incident reporting, election result submissions, and GPS location sharing.
Voter Education
The Learn tab contains a library of articles covering everything from how to vote, your rights as a voter, the election process, your PVC, election day procedures, understanding results, and general civic education. You can read articles, leave comments, like content, and share articles with friends and family.
Community Forums
Join discussions with fellow Nigerians in the Forums tab. There are two types:
- Polling Unit Forums — Private forums for verified voters at the same polling unit. Discuss local election matters and coordinate on election day.
- Public Forums — Open forums on any topic. Anyone can join and participate.
Community Polls
The Polls tab lets you vote on community questions and surveys. Polls can be Yes/No or multiple-choice, and some are restricted to verified voters only. After voting, you can see live results with percentage breakdowns.
Election Calendar
Stay informed about upcoming elections from your home screen. The app shows the election type (Presidential, Governorship, Senatorial, House of Representatives, State Assembly, Local Government), the date, and a live countdown. Past elections are also listed for reference.
Report Election Incidents
If you witness voter intimidation, ballot stuffing, violence, equipment failure, late opening, vote buying, or any other irregularity, use the Report Incident feature to document it. You can:
- Select the incident category and severity level.
- Write a detailed description of what happened.
- Upload photo evidence.
- Tag the GPS location of the incident.
Reports are reviewed by the platform team and help build a transparent record of election conduct.
Submit Election Results
After voting, verified voters can submit polling unit results by photographing the official result sheet (EC8A form) and uploading it through the app. This citizen-sourced data helps verify official results.
Email Preferences
Manage what notifications you receive from the Profile tab. You can toggle:
- Verification updates
- Broadcast alerts
- Election results
- Incident reports
- Election reminders
Privacy and Safety
- Your GPS location is never tracked in the background — it is only captured when you explicitly tap the location button.
- Your vote in polls is anonymous — no one can see how you voted.
- PVC verification data is securely stored and only reviewed by authorized admin staff.
- You can sign out at any time from the Profile tab.
